IF YOU'VE LOST

I hear a lot of people say "I don't know how I'm gonna live without my mother","I don't know what I'm gonna do without my dad" or "My grandmother is everything and I don't wanna lose her".I know we all mean it when we say we do not wanna lose our loved ones ,we think the world stops when that one person is nomore and yes it does stop but it doesn't stop for too long.It doesn't wait for you to figure it all out because at the end of the day this world doesn't belong to anyone.It belongs to God and his PERFECT will.The perfect will of God doesn't put a stop to suffering,it simply means that whatever is happening today ,good or bad ,God is working it out for your good!

I don't understand when people say "I lost my mother but I gained a guardian angel" but what if what they are saying is "I lost my mother but I know God sees my broken heart and he will put back the broken pieces".

So what if its not the loss that tears us apart because we know for sure we cannot reverse it or bully God into bringing our loved ones back.What if it's the acceptance and healing that hurt us even more.What if it's knowing you have lost but you cannot heal from it even though healing is a possibility.

Healing is a process,it may take a lifetime because sometimes it's not the loss that breaks us so much that we can't do anything anymore.It is the response from the world,from people we trusted to have our backs.It is everything that doesn't work in our favour that cripples us so bad that we think its the loss.We think maybe if that one person was still here,everything would be better.It is the constant reminders from strangers ,our friends and family members .Sometimes unknowingly and sometimes intentionally.It isn't the loss ,it is the cruel world which makes it hard for us to heal,for us to accept and for us to long for the presence of our people ,who are now in a better place.

So instead of saying "I can't live without my mother" maybe we should say "I don't know how I'm going to heal from this loss but I hope the world will try and be a better place".
